The composer David Stoll provides training and consultancy services in creative thinking for schools and corporations

DAVID STOLL is a well known composer of concert, television, theatre and children's music. CREATIVE CONFIDENCE is the company through which he delivers education and training in creative thinking.

A qualified teacher with a Theatre-in-Education background, David was commissioned by the Government to write BUILDING MUSIC, a guide for primary schools working with visiting composers.  David's second book, KEY STAGE 2 COMPOSING, is a systematic guide to teaching composing in primary schools with teachers' notes and sample projects.

David runs workshops and composing projects in schools, and INSET training for Local Authorities around the country. The pupil sessions are fully in line with the National Curriculum, but are also valued by headteachers for the training in listening and attention they offer.  Key Stage 2 workshops are a speciality.

A recent initiative is David's SEALSONGS project, combining classroom discussion with pupils on topics in the Social, Emotional and Behavioural Skills programme, and workshops in songwriting.  This has resulted in the popular SEALSONG book and CD, which schools and Local Authorities are now able to purchase.

David Stoll also designs workshops in creative thinking for corporate and management training. Creativity is a transferable skill and this new approach offers a refreshing insight into working practices and how to develop ideas.

David writes music to order on commission for a variety of circumstances, both educational and personal.
